NVQI-QOD: Now Expanding into Canada
The expansion of the NVQI-QOD into Canada is officially underway. As part of our commitment to improving procedural quality and patient care for those with stroke and cerebrovascular diseases, we are now actively onboarding Canadian centers into our robust North American network. This expansion allows Canadian clinicians to move beyond isolated data snapshots by joining a community of top medical centers dedicated to validated, real-world data and long-term outcome tracking.
Bridging North American Data
The NVQI-QOD is a physician-led registry developed to improve procedural quality and patient care for those with stroke and cerebrovascular diseases. By opening our doors to Canadian centers, we are creating a more robust, unified network that allows for deeper collaboration and a more comprehensive understanding of real-world outcomes across the continent.
Registry Overview and Benefits
Why join the North American Standard?
- Benchmarking & Long-Term Outcomes: Compare technical efficacy and clinical outcomes against aggregate national benchmarks from top centers. The registry captures 100% of procedures, demographics, and long-term patient outcomes (one year or longer) for detailed safety analysis.
- Cutting-Edge 2026 Modules: Access the latest innovations, including the brand-new Cerebral Venous module and an expanded Neuro Embolization module.
- Secure Infrastructure & Regulatory Compliance: Utilize the secure, web-based Fivos PATHWAYS platform for data sharing and receive essential assistance in meeting regulatory demands for clinical follow-up.
Core Modules for 2026
The registry supports a wide range of neurointerventional and cerebrovascular surgical procedures:
- Acute Ischemic Stroke
- Cerebral Aneurysm
- Cerebral Venous (New for 2026)
- Neuro Embolization (Expanded for 2026)
A Focus on Actionable Data
The NVQI-QOD is uniquely focused on neurovascular care, providing real-time actionable data, comparable metrics, and critical information on device effectiveness. By joining this network, Canadian members gain the ability to validate their clinical performance against North American standards, moving beyond the immediate procedural snapshot to see the full picture of the patient journey.
We look forward to welcoming our Canadian colleagues and working together to achieve superior neurovascular outcomes.
